Sweeett!!! I'm not a big fan of it, but if that's the sound your'e looking for -- BOSS pedals are the #1 shiznit no doubt. Personally i used to use a SD-1 with my tube amp back in the day. Zakk Wylde setup. That pedal f'n rocked.

duuuudeeee... get your hands on an mt-1. I use a tube screamer for light distortion, or just the gain stage on my mesa head... current axes: Santana Sig Model PRS, Fender Sambora signature model. Best part.. borrowing them from a chick.

btw: don't underestime athe BRE sound processor! takes your sound and fucking MAKES IT F'N POWERFUL like you wouldn't believe. A must if you play live or do recording. Night and day difference. Like hitting "stereo" on your cd player.
