Just wondered what you guys think about eating raw eggs preworkout and in the mourning. the pros and cons. Since i dont have that much time when i wake up for class early, its easy to throw 4 in a blender and eat it or just throw them in a cup.

cholesterol ---> testersterone! :)

3 eggs and 6 egg whites is in the diet we are following btw.

It takes me a while to eat all that food in the AM.

Wake up 5 minutes earlier and cook 'em dude! Eggs should be fully cooked in order for the Biotin present in eggs to be available for absorption. In its natural raw state, Avidin, a protein found in eggs, binds with Biotin (a B-vitamin). When bound to Avidin, our bodies are unable to absorb Biotin from the egg.

The bioavaliabiltiy of raw egg protein is quite low compared to cooked egg.

I can find studies if you are unaware of them - but watching tennis semi's ATM

what about cholesterol

do you know even Chicken breast is High in Cholesterol?( tin the amount we eat)

overstated fear and also
cholesterol ---> testersterone! as Sweed Said

Also the Arichodic Acid is also quite potent in Eggs and I def feel it Every day when I have them

Dietary cholestoral is not the bogeyman (dietary cholestoral does not in most studies adversely affect blood cholestoral), and everyone's diet here should be reasonably high in fibre, and have a decent fatty acid composition, which would improve cholestoral profiles.

BTW Omega - how can you feel the aranachoic acid? I'm very curious. I previously have scrambled the eggs in the microwave - is this not the way to do it? I know you suggested soft boiling them - are we able to scramble them instead?

learned something new here :) thanks omega and sweed!

I've had up to two dozen raw eggs a day and felt great with no problems. Don Howorth and Bob Gajda use to do the same back in the hay day. It's an individual thing for sure.

Here's an interesting article concerning raw egg nutrition
The Health Benefits of Raw Eggs

If you scramble eggs, but not scramble the shit out of them (e.g., somewhat runny), are they OK?

Always good to get takes on different sides of an issue.

I personally attest to the raw egg methodology. I cooked my eggs for years, but I personally feel that raw eggs have added strength and weight. Since they are digested so easily, the amount of energy provided afterward is fantastic as is the mental clarity.

I also subscribe to the idea that foods have temperature tolerances and that heating them substantially affects the nutrients.

Agreed!

Choline Substrates, Arachidonic Acid, Cholesterol for Testosterone Production, Highest Quality Protein, Fats for energy.

OK I will try the raw eggs.

I guess the purpose for me eating them is not the protein really (according to my cited study I may lose 10G of protein - not really a big deal, I will just add 10g whey lol), but the cholestoral and Arachidonic acid.

BTW, what do you think about omega 3 eggs v normal eggs.

The omega 3 eggs in AUS fed a special diet are amazing. 1/3 of the polys are omega 3, but the real benefits are that 2 eggs provides:
100% RDI+ Zinc (good for testosterone), Vit E (hard nutrient to get), Folate, Vit A, Selnium. So they are a better source of Zinc than beef and vit E than almonds

It would cost me about $5 more per week but seems worth it.

Desmond unknown about the particular of the OMEGA eggs to be honest

I add raw Eggs to my shakes sometimes, they add GREAT flavor and the fat also may slow down the Whey absorption a tiny but in a good way which is goo for MRP purposes and satiety
