currently in week 6 of a test/ eq cycle...about two days ago i started getting a rash on my left wrist and now it's on both my ankles as well...i know the test kicked in about a week ago and i'm guess i'll start feeling the eq anytime now...never heard of this side but i fugured i'd ask. thnks

if your using AIFM, its likely that, some folks get irritated skin from it.....iim just glad i dont! its a new staple in my PCT

yeah i'm using aifm but the last time i used it was 3 days ago and even longer than that on my feet...still might be it...appreciate it bro

Its definitely the aifm. Stop using it now!!!! Send it back and get a refund. I got some bad rashes from it and they last for weeks and actually leave scars... Some get them some dont....were the unlucky ones....

actually if the rash appeared after using its less likely that its the AIFM, especially more than 3 days after ceasing use.

why did you stop using the AIFM?
were you using it on the sites? (as it can be a skin sensitizers, so subsequent exposure to irritants might cause rash)

however regardless the cause of the rash you should at the minimum put hydrocortisone on it, ASAP, as this will stop it from progressing and make it go away faster.

DONT USE THE AIFM, it is causing the rashes

also the sweat from working out is not helping it all, try and get some OTC lotion to help with it. I had to go the doctor cause it would not get better

good luck

My rashes were the worst 8 days after last use....I took a few weeks off (used Aromasin) then started backup and rotate sites religiously with no ill effects now. Just don't think you can switch sites and be fine....it will aggravate the current rash no matter where you use it until it completely heals and your histamine levels return to normal.

he is not using AIFM, he stopped using it before the rash occured (but if he still was would reccomend cessation)

I had the same problem it takes time for the rash to materialize so it probly has been festering the whole time

for me the rash got worse but I was not using aifm anymore

i love AF products but this aifm is no joke

agree with medical (which is why its in the reccomendations).

though still unclear as to whether AIFM (since he stopped using it before the rash) is the cause here or something else (with sensitization from AIFM perhaps being a factor). Because if its something else then he needs to stop that as well.

agreed but the loaction of the irritation does suggest some corrolation to AIFM

He is not getting a rash on his face right it only localized to the area of administration.

I only have some advice to him and all get hlep fast my rash was TERRIBLE because I thought it would go away its self

If he had not stopped prior to the occurance, agree he would need to stop, just in case it was the AIFM.

also agree there appears to be some correlation (transdermals are skin sensitizers generally), but if there is something else involved that also needs to be stopped or removed.

and agree that regardless of the cause he needs to get some hydrocortisone on the rash areas ASAP.

Macro... what is it exactly in the AIFM that causes that rash? And is there any theory on why it affects certain people? Also, if someone does get the rash, could that cause permanent issues down the road as you said it was a skin sensitizer? or is it only an issue until the AIFM completely clears the system?

short term sensitization, 1-2 weeks. but that will typically only occur if you have some form of reaction and its usually very limited- ie to the AIFM or something you already are allergic too.

basically its like this, the active is an mild irritant (most steroids are). this is fine until you get too high a concentration and/or too much repeated exposure to the same tissue. Then you body basically decides (and this is only in a small number of individuals at the concentrations used, with careful use it should be none- exception would be those who have an inherent allergy to one of the ingredients (orange oil in particular)) that its an "enemy" and launches a "counter attack" (inflammtory response). at that point you have to wait for your body to "forget" that its an invader before using it again. This is why after you have a inflammatory response, rotating sites is not particulary effective.

that is a vast oversimplication of immune and inflammatory response, but its basically correct.

I tried eq twice and broke out with rashes both times from it but it was all over my body.

could have been the oil they used or solvents, though such reactions to individual steroids are not unheard of. as a note of interest, allergies are an uncommon (but not unheard of issue) with letrozole, arimidex and aromasin.

I tried 2 kinds Golden Triangle and QV both did it to me.

haha yeah i'm pretty pissed. thanks guys
Don't be pissed, just be careful and patient. Far too good an AI to give up on it completely just yet! Give your body a rest and then start JUDICIAL use once again. It has worked for me.

my left wrist has started to develope a rash. ive been using aifm for approx 4 weeks now with good results, rotating sites, 2 pumps a day. gonna stop now and give it a rest before my next cycle in jan when i'll start using it again. the rash doesnt seem to have got any worse in the last few days, just a bit itchy. :rainbow:

well i was only using one pump a day to start will...that pretty conservative...i might try it again but this is just annoying as hell. it's still been spreading and getting worse but i started using witch hazel and hydrocordisone cream today ( <--- macro). i'm hoping it'll clear up in a day or so.

^^ and no the rash isn't yellow at all

Stop using it!! It took weeks for my rash to go away and months for the scars to disappear. I had it on my wrist also.

when i first starting using AIFM, i made the mistake of applying after morning shower on the tops of my feet.....yes, the scars are still there....albeit minor and small.....but the rash was killer for a few weeks.....would not recommend on tops of feet, then putting on socks/shoes and putting in a full day, then going to gym and sweating your ass off....no good

i got one minor rash on my forearm, but it went away and no scars. that was only one instance of about 100 sprays......now i spray on forearms, rub in real quick and even rub on the inner thighs sometimes.....since i first started and got the initial rashes, haven't had one single itch....

listen to macro and ulter
