RANT:
my friend decides to have this camp party, but wouldnt have been able to with his parents permission, so he decided to do it anyway...normally this would be fine, but unfortunately, the furnace wasnt on and it was freezing cold...
after driving myself and one other friend to his cabin about 50 minutes late, we realised it would be especially shitty seeing as it would take at least one more additional hour to turn on the furnace, and get the place heated up, also the other friends had previously arrived, and left again, pissed off and cold...they came back a bit later tho...after several failed attempts to heat the furnace, we decided to go with our instincts and take the smell of propane fumes as a sign we should remove any matches and other burning objects from the general vicinity, turn the gas off, and go to the sauna instead...we started a fire in the house (which didnt help much), but to our surprise, the sauna fire went well and we had roaring heat going in no time. everyone then decided to pull out the alcohol (probably the best solution to overcoming the shitty situation).
after, me and a friend went into town to buy stuff for the party. with entirely our money, we bought an extra large 3 topping pizza, chips, pop, etc, and even called home to let them know we would be picking up the pizza, and ask what everyone wants.
i come back in (after a total trip of 1 hour and a half), to have my friends girlfriend, run outside piss drunk and ask "where the fuck were you, jon is passed out on the floor really sick".
she bitches at me a little more a bit after that, and my friend, shivering and puking on the floor, is not half as sick as she makes him out to be. (some people just dont know how to handle themselves in times of stress

anyway, with no thank you for all my shelling out cash to buy all the snacks, she gets mad at me once again (for not buying bottled water - as if she would have been pissed if we didnt need bottled water - again, how was i supposed to know my friend would be sick and need water? once again, it was at least a part my friends fault for not organising this better...no running water and below 0 temps, wtf?).
im pissed off cause (1) how was i supposed to know i should have hurried back to the cabin because somebody was sick?, (2) he was sick in part due to the below zero temperature in the house (my friends fault), (3) i didnt receive a "thank you matt for paying $30 on shit for us", (4) etc.
i came home immediately after, (my friends went to the living room to watch some movie), trekked outside and wailed on a heavy bag in my shed. i was more pissed than ever. i then came in the house after and hoisted some phat weights to release my anger. all very effective. one of those addrenaline things i guess.
anyway, was i wrong? was i right? comments?
