Yeah, most people don’t actually stop and think about taxes and why we have to pay them ect….I find it hilarious that they can do whatever they want, and we have hardly if any say in it, and then we the people have to pay for it…good stuff right there...makes you want to start a riot

I agree. I live in california and pay taxes out of the WAZOO day in day out.

Know how much input i have on HOW these monies are spent as a citizen? Zippo. Zilch. "Hands off buster -- it's OUR money now bitch".

Great way to run government.

Maybe if americans could at least have more input on and simple regular disclosure on how state/federal money is spent -- we wouldn't feel so miserable after each paycheck.

Perhaps the gov could take a note from big companies who put out annual reports to stockholders on how THEIR money is being spent.
