ENJOY!!! How relaxing that sounds!!! I have never had a professional massage of ANY kind.... never.... never ever. :(

Any ideas on some good ones to consider?

ANY ONE is great.........

When I was away in SC -- I had a chocolate body scrub followed by a mini-massage..... awesome!!

I was gonna go for the Deep tissue until the lady started explaining this one.. and I was like .. Oh HELL YES..

I've had a massage once, when I was in Cuba, I had hurt my neck, so let me tell you it was crazy painful, I don't knw what possessed me to go and get a massage when my neck was hurting like that.....I guess I thought it would make it better but hmmm it made it 10 times worse.

Hole-e-$hit

I am green with envy - I must treat myself one of these days

I used to date a guy who was a massage therapist & did the best deep tissue. I got the most amazing hot stone massage while at a hotel in Vegas, and the same guy also did a massage where you don't lay on your stomach but instead lay on your back on this bag of hot water & he does the massage beneath the bag. AMAZING! I had just quit a job and was celebrating in Vegas and was particularly sore & stressed from the quitting of the job & the flight out to Vegas. This guy exceeded my expectations and even left bruises. AMAZING!

I'm currently seeing a massage therapist as part of my back therapy w/ the chiropractor -- this girl uses a cream instead of oil which is nice because it doesn't leave you all squishy (which I hate). But the work she does is definitely geared towards muscle therapy than to relaxation. It's different but it works.

I HIGHLY recommend them. Like cheffy, they should be a regular thing as part of say, training or something, just to get your centered, relaxed and get the knots worked out. But at $50+/hr, it gets expensive. I'm also really picky about the massages -- if the person can't do hardcore deep tissue, I'm not interested.

They are so awesome! Just find a good one! Sometimes you can get cheaper ones if you have a massage therapy school near you.

All right that's it!! On Monday's to do list, I'm scheduling a massage!!

And maybe I'll run down to Michael's for craft stuff & go get a pedicure too.....

If they help improve my life and over all well being, $$$ is no object, hell I work for the $$$ might as well spend it on things to benefit myself

Hi all,
I've been lurking for awhile and thought its time to say hello and post.

I'm a Massage therapist and have had a raindrop massage, its really nice. The therapist uses 12 different blends of oils. In a sequence she will drop 1 at a time down the spine and maasage them into the body. Its mainly focused on the back, but most therapists will entire the legs, feet and shoulders and arms for an hour.

Enjoy!
