Raided and it wasn't my house

I don't know if I should post this or what but I guess I am gonna tell ya'll what happened Wednesday afternoon. I was staying at my friends house and we were talking in the dining room. Some post office guy came to the door which my friend thought it was odd. The guy handed him a package and asked him if he was "so so" and he said yes and just forced the package into his hands. My friend didn't take it inside the house and left it outside. Five minutes later there is 10 guys all wearing ski masks telling us to get down to the floor. I just stalled cause I didn't know what to do. They threw me down to the floor and handcuffed me. Well I didn't know what was going on. I had no idea. They took to another room and started to ask me questions. They asked me about "G". Well I don't take G but I know my friend does. After that they found juice in the bathroom drawer and they asked me whose it was. I said it was mine and his. This is what we had left.

Then they said they might charge me with that. To my knowledge they said they had a warrant but I never got to see it nor did my friend. They said they came to the house because of the package which was "G" but my friend says no that it was some chemical "Nail Polish Remover" that he had ordered off this website. Now I am caught in the middle, they didn't charge me with anything YET. They said I would have to help them out catch this girl at some club who sells X. I don't want to do it but I don't have anything on my record either. My friend was taken to jail and I had to post 3000 bail. I am quite frightened because now I think I am being followed or that anytime they might pull me over and decide to arrest me. On an another note, I had to miss two exams which means I have to drop the classes. Also my mom just got heart surgery and she hasn't been doing too good. So I am quite stressed out. Now I am up in the air on what to do? Who should I talk to? And will my record be tarnished? This is something I didn't need to happen.

I'd get a lawyer and get some legal advice about the bust. Also, it sounds like your friend is holding some stuff back and not telling you everything. From what you wrote, it sounds damn sure to me like he knew there was G in the box and the nail polish remover is bullshit. Thats just me talking here. I really would get some legal advice though. Sounds like you could have a court case based on the bust.

You shouldn't have admitted to anything. Whenever a cop asks you a potentially incriminating question just ask him if you are under arrest. If not say that you would like to leave and do so. If you are under arrest then keep your mouth shut.

They can't force you to help them. Play it cool and hire a good lawyer.

I remember a post a while back about an Attorney who deals with mostly steroid cases...infact I believe he wrote the book "Steroid Laws" I think I remember it being a sticky as well...good luck man I know that sucks, something similar happened to me a little over a year ago, I didn't say shit or do shit and wound up with a big fine and some probation, no big deal

I really really think you should talk to a lawyer. Its sounds like the cops were just trying to scare you, and yes you should have kept your mouth shut when they asked you who's drugs they were. I'm still leary about your friend though.

short story....

I had a buddy of mine who was big into dealing ghb, steroids and club drugs.....his net worth in one year was over $195,000.00 that's all he did, he had the best connects around, and he was good at what he did.....untill he decided to let one of his friends move into the house with him. they controlled alot of the drugs that went in and out of the clubs in NYC and around the area. they were very big time, and one day his friend (roomate) was pulled over while he just picked up maybe a case of -G- about 24 bottles....instead of him taking the wrap for the -G- he decided to to tell the feds that in the home he lived in there was much more then what they pulled him over for......well to make a long story even shorter....the feds went to the house and found

a few boxes of -G-
a few thousand oral roids
anout 5,000 hit of -E-
and a kilo or 2 of coke
and a few hundred licks....

well needless to say all the stuff was found in the roomates room (the one who was pulled over)

yet my boy had to take out all the money he had made in the past year and all of it went to lawyers and court fees....

so I guess what I am trying to say to you is...since it was your mans house....you have no worries....did they find anything on your person (meening your body at the time of arrest?)

if no don't sweat it.......
secondly, if your friend was in too far over his head yet faild to let you know...then send him to hell, you don't need a friend that will jepordise you and your life.....

lastly, about catching the girl at the club for the feeds.......tell them that you want no part of it, that you never had a part in it to begin with and you will not have a part in it now.....tell them that is there job...they get paid to ruin peoples days and lives but you will not take part in it......

if they have a problem, and they try to tell you they will put you in jail.....tell them they are wrong and if they keep on harrasing you...you will place them in jail....remember they said they had a warent???? was your name on that warrent????? if they even really had one to beggin with.......

other then that get your self a good lawyer....it might become a very expensive lesson to be learned.....but at least you won't do time for being in the middle of some one ellses BS....

YOU VIOLATED RULE #1!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DONT TALK TO THE COPS!!!!!!!! Where did it get you idiot, you still had to post bail, your still looking at being charged, your still in this mess. If you would have just kept your mouth shut the most probably would have been detained for a few hours then sent home with a stern policeman warning that I'll be watching you, ohh scary. You got yourself into this cause you opened your big mouth I hope others will learn from your mistakes but I dought it. GET A LAWYER AND LET HIM DO THE TALKING. As far as helping bust this girl, so what you are saying should you help to take down someone else who could be anyone so that you dont go down, that other person could be me or anyone of the other members on this board all I have to say about that is if I got busted cause you made a stupid mistake FUCK YOU. DO I NEED TO SAY IT AGAIN GET A LAWYER CAUSE YOUR NO GOOD AT THIS!
