Maybe its because the kids are punks and don't give a shit about learning?? If you were a teacher, would you want to teach in a penal colony environment?? The kids tear up the schools and give the teachers zero respect.

The problem of segregation persists through high school. Although more integrated, students here seem to be receiving a separate education even within the same school.

The quote in bold is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. They are trying to say that the teachers pay more attention to the white kids in class. WHAT KIND OF STUPID SHIT IS THAT. Why is it so fucking hard to admit that the black kids would rather fuck around and rebel rather than learn anything. Then when the test scores are low as hell, the NAACP blames the teachers and the schools. Give me a fucking break.

Then after these fucks bullshit their way through highschool, their parents bitch about how they can't get into college because they are black. Then we use the quota system to give them financial grants and free passes for all their "hard work". Makes perfect sense.

You paint a very broad stroke with the brush and not all black parents blame the school,teacher or others for their child not getting into a certain university.You are angry over this obviously and the president has taken the initiative to bring ALL students scores up regardless of their race.AMERICA is lagging behind not just underachieving blacks and underachieving whites.Does it bother you in the least bit that a child from another nation can come to america and since his parents are disciplined he will not be running the streets , but rather going to a tutor or extra help sessions and he ends up at brown or harvard or yale while the american kid who wanted to party and not take the harder classes is going to a good college but not in the same league as harvard so who is to blame.Academics have taken a back seat to having a good time and the nation will feel the backlash from it.It is easy to sit and say look at what they get and why are they complaining when they get special treatment but why don't you come up with a solution so we do not have to hear the whining.If you can do that you can win a nobel prize for your efforts because the government with all its money and specialists can't do it so CAN YOU???

Yep, I agree. Having gone to public school for 10.5 yrs. It is 100 percent true that about .99 of blacks like to screw around and think the world owes them something. Am I racist? No. Do I kiss their asses? Hell no.

Rizzo, The majority of school kids are achieving, thats why it is harder than ever for college grads to find jobs. There is a small percentage of the children that underachieve because they WANT to. In Texas, all our tax money goes to furnish every school and every facility in Texas.

In Houston, schools like Madison and Willoridge are 98+% black and they have consistantly, for many years, scored the lowest on test scores in the Houston area. We had to play baseball over there, and heard nothing but taunting and jeering from all the students, they had no respect for anyone.


The federal government does not need to fund $$ and use quotas to give these kids a chance. They CAN accomplish goals if they want too. Thats why there are so many prominant black persons holding steady respectable jobs.

The reason this article pissed me off so much is because it was blaming the teachers for not teaching the minority students, and my mother is a teacher. Nobody deserves special treatment because their test scores are low. They can transfer to a more respectable school if they think the teachers are not doing their job.

So whats the solution?? keep funding the schools and promoting teachers to teach. Those students who want to listen, will listen. If they choose not too, then fuck them. This goes for ALL races.

My mother is a school teacher also and my grandmother and grand father.My father is a retired corporate attorney for xerox for 30 years and my mom has her masters , my grandfather has his masters ,my father went from howard university to duke university and was phi beta capa.My family has education and paid their dues.I do not get mad at some of these people here because They can get away with it here and knowing all the time they wouldn't dare go to work and commit professional suicide by voicing their opinion like they do on here.When my dad was accepted to DUKE UNIVERSITY LAW SCHOOL my grandmother at first was scared to let him go because he was going to be 1 of three other blacks who were in that program and many did not want him or them there at all.The blacks who were involved in the civil rights era were HUNGRY for their rights and EDUCATION and my father often mentions that to me.When somebody says you cannot do something or attend a certain school well that should light a fire under your ass to do whatever it takes to get to a level so you can go to any school yoou want to. Many of my people did not want to vote saying it wont make a difference and look at all the people of all colors who risked their lifes to get the vote ? I do not want to even get started on the election because I was one of the people who suddenly were not registered or could not be found in the system and drove around for 4 hours trying to fond out why and 2 weeks after the election I was suddenly found to be registered?????T state police who along with the local cops in DADE COUNTY suddenly were conducting roadblocks to check for valid licenses and check for outstanding warrants on african americans, but down in coral gables the white and jewish people drove to the polls with no problems at all and WHO CAN TELL ME THAT WE WERE NOT SET UP? THOSE BASTARDS STOLE THE ELECTION AND DID IT LEGALLY AND KATHLEEN HARRIS CAN GO TO HELL BECAUSE HOW CAN YOU BE ON THE REPUBLICAN COMMITTE AND ON THE STATES PAYROLL AND THAT NOT BE A CONFLICT OF INTREST????
