Ocasionally..not a common sight at all... Vipers are even rarer. And when you see a Vetter it is ALWAYS an American (military plates, etc).

yep, the whole town is decorated red... this year is not as bad as in previous years though.

i was just wondering if it was like over here you see alot of mercedes etc imported cars but its nt like that in Europe? you dont see too many american cars?

Why would they want vettes when they have som many solid domestic cars to choose from. I saw an M3 destroy a vette at Laguna Seca last year.

Vettes are sick fast and I really do like the way the new ones look. American sports cars just don't handle the way I like. They feel squirrly and heavy. We have yet to put one together that has the total package IMO.

I've heard stories of American military personnel on the Autobahn in American cars, holding onto the steering wheel with white knuckles at 105mph while being passed by Mercedes Diesels and Polos and old Fiat 127s and such.

a vette? heavy? explain. perfect weight to weight ratio. i agree that a viper is a heavy clunky thing. the engine weighs more than the car. lol. but how do you figure with a vette? especially the new one.

I haven't driven the new one. The last I tried was an '03 and it felt soft in the turns, more push than I'm used to from RWD. I know the car itself isn't considered "heavy", but it felt that way to me. Much more so that my friends Porsche and M5, which is an extremely heavy car. I test drove an Audi RS6 a little over a week ago, and that thing was like driving a rocket dump truck. I'm used to my WRX STi, but have driven quite a few cars. All of them good, it's just what I noticed.
