r-ALA?

From what I've read ALA is great on a keto diet.

Is it just good for someone trying to get in ketosis, or is my thinking that a) it will allow me to up my carb intake a bit and remain in ketosis and b) it will help burn a little extra fat correct?

I've never tried ALA by the way....
 
r-ALA is much different than ALA. r-ALA is far more potent and effective at helping you get rid of fat. You don't need keto to lose fat with r-ALA that's the beauty of it. You can eat regularly and have your high carb post workout drink and r-ALA will push the carbs into your muscle cells and keep your insulin levels low (you want them low because your body won't burn fat in the presence of insulin) while causing you to drop 35% more fatty acids.
ALA raises your insuling levels which is not good and it has no affect on fatty acids.
So go get some and try it. :)
 
OK i have been searching here and reading about R-ala for the past 24 hours straight I think!!
Can someone clarify once and for all, what exactly does R-Ala do. Im not cutting, bulikng, in ketosis, or fucking Dr. Atkins, i just want to know what it will do to me. Im 6'1, 205, have a decent body but not enough defenition. Im not on a diet, i just watch what i eat, particularlly the carbs.

increase insulin sensitivity
improve glucose uptake
increase glycogen stores
decrease plasma insulin
increase lipolytic window
