r-ALA - still unclear

I know lots of people here say it's a great supplement, but to me it seems similar to what people say about glutamine, everyone says it works great but I don't really see any results, physically. I'm just not convinced I guess.

How long have you used it? at what doses? what times? what diet?

I think there are so many factors that come into play, but most effective usage is needed for proper gains.

What would you say is an effective dose, time period of using it, and diet for r-ALA?

There is no effective dose that is pegged for people. I would say 100mg R-ala per 30-50g carbs that you take in, that's about as accurate as I can get. I would suggest doing a balanced diet for yourself, the R-ala is just an aid no diet (besides having carbs of course) is highly better than the next.

What would you say is a balanced diet?

I am about to start a cycle of sustenon and EQ.

Stats:
Weight: 218lbs
Height: 5'9''
BF%: 15%(estimate)

Goal:
Weight: 210lbs
BF%: 7-8%

I was thinking about doing:

DIET:
Mon - Thurs: .4 g carbs X LBM, 1.75 g protein X LBM
Fri - Sat: 1g carbs X LBM, 1.3g protein X LBM
Sun: 3g X LBM, 1g X protein
EVERDAY: Flaxseed Oil

Cardio Workout:
Mon-Thurs AM = 1 hour cardio
Fri-Sat AM= 40mins cardio(more intense)

Mon-Fri Weight training in the PM :
1 body part a day.

Let me know what you think?

And if you have a diet written up smilliar to what i need please send it over i would appreciate it.

How much fat are you taking in a day:?

and, if you are cycling sust and EQ you need to add daily anti-e's like armidex...

the diet look fine overall, minus the fat part

I am not sure on how much fat i should add, i thought maybe 2-3 tablespoons of flaxseed oil was fine.

Can i also take ALA for fat in my diet, i thought it was also an EFA.

Why do i need arimedx, i mean i have done sust/EQ without arimdex and once the water drops i get ripped, do you think it effects fat loss, would i have gotten more ripped? or do you say that becuase of the holding water doesn't make you 'look' ripped?

BTW, do you have the actual foods listed in a diet breakdown? I know you have written at least a million by now saved somewhere...lol.

Which ones should i eat and when?

Wheat bread
Mixed vegatables
pasta

because water is NOT the only problem, but armomatization is one too. You might gain estrogenic related bodyfat, so I would suggest using anti-e's

I would up the amount by 1tbsp. every 2 or so weeks
