r-ala on carb up days?

i just take 1-2g of regular ala during my carb up day. Once my ala runs out im gonna give AST's r-ala a try, its 200mg per cap.

I've been using ALA for about 6 months now..both r-ala and racemic and I personally notice very little difference except racemic is cheaper.

but either form works great!
:)

MacD,

its still ala, same price as before(considering the raws are 4 times the cost minimum... VERY SUPER UNLIKELY).. if it were actually R+ (and they knew what that meant) they would emphasize it in the description.

sadly they are probably too incompetent to know the difference

It says R+ALA on the bottle.

sure does.. but since a month ago they did not even know the difference, there are numerous posts of several boards regarding this... and they are now selling it at the same price and dose as their old ALA... makes it EXTREMELY unlikely that it is infact R+ alpha lipoic.. label change without product change (so very common unfortunately)

the product is R-Ala :)

if you are reffering to AST... no its not. this can be said with near certainty.. even without testing (which as you might guess will be done in the near future)

a short : how smart are the AST guys :D

1. ALA is NOT an amino acid
2. the only thing that has changed is the label.. if you switched to a product where the raw material costs 5-6 times as much.. you might update the description

btw- since you (mc) cannot tell the difference between ALA and R+ (as you posted above).. what are you basing your claim on?
