R-ALA- How Does It Help With Fat Loss???

I've seen a bunch of posts about R-ALA, but it lists a bunch of techical terminology that leaves me stumped. Forgive me, I'm from Texas.:D Could someone explain to me in the simplest terms how R-ALA helps you lose bodyfat??? Also, when should you take it and how much? Thanks in advance for your help!!

by increasing glucose uptake and decreasing plasma insulin..

insulin is anti-lipolytic as well as anti- GH (simple but mostly accurate descript)

typical dosage is 100mg per 30-50g of carbs

or in the simplest terms..

it allows to eat carbs without the negative fat gain/fat loss inhibition that they cause in many individuals..

it creates an insulin environment similar to keto without having to go into ketosis.

I here mixed things on this, some say its great and stack's well with CLA and others say its worthless. ???? Its greek to me..

there are few if any people that have used r-ala and found that it was worthless. There are some people who think that abstracts, which they have difficulty understanding and seem to misinterpret at every turn, indicate lack of effectiveness....

these interpretations are, for the most part, incorrect.

with respect to CLA.. both users and theoreticians are split over effectiveness.

btw- most people who theorize that r-ala does not work also theorize that racemic ala does not work.. one would venture to guess that these misguided people have those that follow them.. and thus spread such innaccurate gospel :p

Does the discount code work for European orders as well, or are international prices fixed?

beleive that the international prices are fixed on EU- r-ala.. but if you order shipped from US discount code should apply.. email [email protected] for more definite answer to any and all ordering questions.

could one of you refer me to the study(ies) regarding a preferrential increase in glucose uptake in muscle cells OVER adipose tissue due to r-ala?

there are no studies in living systems with respect to preferential shuttling. There are no studies in isolated cell lines either- all use one or the other.

there is considerable evidence otherwise that does point to this.
1. r-ala reduces plasma insulin
2. dosages used in adipocyte cell lines were much higher
3. people that use both r-ala and ala get leaner. This was found among diabetics as well.

there are some studies that indicate preferential shuttling based on dosage and other parameters, but will have to pull them and put something together.

Where does one find detailed instructions for using r-ala and the new Yohimburn-DF - the pipette is gone... ?

R-ALA = FAT Storage as well?

Someone written that R-ALA has a reaction similar to Insulin, and should be timed and taken accordingly. They said that just like you shouldn't be taking Slin with a FAT contained meal cause that would make you FAT busterd. You souldn't take R-ALA with a meal containing FAT, as the ALA will help transport the FAT into adipose tissue.

Is this True?

Thinking of stacking CLA-ALA-GLA, Macro, do you know HOW Cla burns fat?

there are reports that this stack is synergystic, somewhat backed by the research.. which is a bit conflicting at times...

CLA is supposedly both a thermogen and a glucose sensitivity enhancer... as with most of these (usually the pufa, spufa) their is contention over mode of action.. though they are generally believed to be mild uncouplers.

what the hell happen to all my posts, i look like a rookie for christ-sakes....
...i guess they erased my 3500+ posts since i havent been around, well im sorry!!!

Do you take w/ ALL meals or only meals that are carbed -up.....

...what kind of carbs we talking about here....rices, starches, fast-food carbs...all???? does it work better on some better than others..or are you guys gettin to pig out on carbs w/ no problems????!!!

bump for some answers to this.....

BUMP for ROIDRANGER question:

all meals..
unless zero carb

all carbs... yes it is more effective with some carb and other macronutrients ratios than others.. but again this varies and depends on a variety of factors that are often individual.. portion size, hydration, order of consumption, time from last meal.. can all have impact... but within all those it is effective.. it just varies a little, sometime requiring less or more for "optimal" effects.. however with the 30-50g/100mg its a pretty "safe and generally "quite effective" dosage.

CLA is not a thermogen. :)
