r-ALA and Vanadyl Sulphate taken together

Yes. OTC stuff is generally overpriced and over-rated. Why bother with a stack of 15 different OTC products to lower blood glucose or raise test levels, when you can get real prescription drugs cheaper that are more effective....i'd rather do 3 weeks of clomid hell instead of stacking maca, avena whatever, tribulus, etc etc etc to get my drive back, and likewise glucophage is much better than any OTC med for lowering blood glucose.

Boggles my mind.

Incorrect.

Studies have shown in Type II diabetics that metformin(glucophage) lowered glucose levels on averga eby 10-40%.

With R-ALA(With again Type II diabetics) it was 40-50%.

SO, no comparison whatsoever.

The difference is that metformin is a biguanide drug therfore patentable while R-ala is naturally occurring and is NOT.

Hence, no profit for the big pharmaceutical firms if you can't patent something and jack up the price 10-fold.

Testing my own BG shows better results with glucophage, by far.

I would be interested in seeing this study.

I've been testing my BG for over 4 years.

Metformin is quite shitty.

Phenformin is the only drug that comes close to R-ALA.

However, it is banned in the USA.

Odd, i've done testing too and I have better results with glucophage. What brand (generic??) /dosage were you using?

I am a type 2 diabetic and metformin makes my bs drop more than R-ala, but I find that if I use both together it is even better.

Genetic variations of Glut-4 translocation to the outside of the cell.
