R-ala and Biotin

nope!
however it is CONJECTURED that after an extended r-ALA consumption biotin levels in the liver decline; the reason why I say conjectured is because the study was performed on rats :o
I wouldn't worry too much about it: bodybuilder's diet should be rich in biotin (eggs, meats, fishes) and you could always supplement on B-complex (very cheap) :martini:

speaking from human experience.. most people do need biotin when taking ALA or r-ala.

and the bodybuilders diet is not IMO rich enough.

btw- eggs are not a good source of biotin (even though biotin rich) as they have protien, avidin, that inhibits biotin absorption. cooking does minimize this, though it also destroys some of the biotin.
