Took time out of my busy schedule to give ya'll the heads up on the nations largest telephone service provider.
They are run by crooks and a lot of crooks work for them.
Seems like every time I do something with them, I have to fight to keep from getting screwed too badly. I also usually feel like I am dealing with a mafia hit squad when doing so.
This is their latest scam: I requested an additional business line a few months ago. They set it up then someone with the company sells the new number to EVERYFUCKINBODY.
The new number, which nobody has, gets 10 times the telemarketing calls that the 9 year old line does. They deny selling my number of course.
I also told the sales rep I did not to change my long distance provider since I was more than happy with them. Well it got changed. I fought it and got refunded the amount charged for the illegitimate change.
They since switched me back to Worldcom whom I never requested and has been charging me a minimum of $3 for every long distance call no matter what. My long distance charges have grown over ten fold with this Worldcom plan they illegitimately put me on.
Plus they screwed up my yellow page ad two years in a row. Advertised the wrong email address and told me to simply get my web provider to make a link and gave me a measly 10% discount.
If only I could charge them for the hassles!!!!
Thye are under intense scrutiny for multiple accounting fraud charges. I hope the rats get shut down. Thye could not be worse.
