Quixtar----Scam?

a couple of my buddies got involved in quixtar. they seem to think eventually they'll make good $ off it. from what i've read it seems like it's a pyramid scheme and the only ones that profit are those that get in early.


anyone know any more info on this? i think the companies former name was amway if that's any help.

I went to a meeting once and heard the presentation, and heard the tapes.

Basicly, they don't tell you much at the meeting except how much money you "Could" make.

The only way to make money is to buy their shit instead of some of the normal stuff you get anyway. AND you have to talk as many, soon to be, ex-friends to get in and buy the shit too. You get a cut of the stuff that they buy too.

The problem is that the shit is more expensive than you can get at a store...... and you have to wait for it to come in the mail.
