Quick update on this board

I will be re-registerd as platinum tomorrow and will put up some good stickies with valuable information. I'm also working on getting a sponsor.

Also, I'd like to get the moderators on Training to move cardio questions here.

Just to let you guys know. Please help promote this by putting it your sig.

Also - Juve - I'd like to add you to the list of moderators. While there are folks that know more about cardio than either of us, you demonstrated the willingness to help get this board off the ground and would be a good, respected moderator.

Wow, that's unexpected. Thank you very much.
I should be joining plat in the near future to aid the board and claim my sig rights :)

Juve - if we ever get some sponsors I'll see if we can get compensated somehow. Right now I'm working on Ultima. Any other suggestions - PM me tomorrow (when my box has capacity again).

Maybe you should change the name to Cardio and endurance sports

You know so the Triathloners and bicylists and stuff will come too

BTW got any good angles on EPO?

Yes, it's a naturally occurring hormone in the body which regulates red blood cell production (hematocrit) - they serve as carriers of oxygen - increased oxygen uptake=higher endurance.
Procrit=synthetic eyrthropoietin prescribed for treatment of anemia. extremely dangerous, should be administered under close supervision, mainly blood tests to observe hematocrit. Too much red blood cells=stroke, blood viscocity and arterial constriction. Only top notch worldclass/olympic/professional athletes utilize this drug for its benefits; obviously in most other people the use is not justified (unless you're anemic) - ie stay away from it, unless you're on US olympics team :o

Just so you know I am totally kidding about the EPO, figured I'd stir things up to get this board going.

However that is the kind of stuff people are going to come here looking for and that's cool.

Unfortunatly it doesn't look like I'm going to be a moderator here, but I do have limited sticky making function, which I'll put to good use.
