Quick Question

So I need a syringe filter (not for steroids) but I found some posts on where to get them. My question is whats the difference between .2 micron and .45 micron. Yes I know its the freakin size so don't give me crap, but one says its for water based things and one says its for oil based. Does it really matter? Which one takes out the most impurities or do they do the same? Just don't know enough about these so hopefully someone else does.

Nothing yet but thinking about aroma therapy stuff and a guy I was talking to said you should use filters for it. (He's a hippy so I don't know how reliable that information is cuz he said everything has to be pure or something, he's cool though) But yeah I was just wondering if oil could go through the .2 filters, but I guess if it says for oil and for water makes sense.

0.2 micron will go flying accross the room if you try to filter oil. If you buy a kit it comes with all the proper equipment.
