Quick Question: Storage of Protein?

Just a quick question I need confirmation on guys. Usually buy all my protein and supplements in tubs for the month, every month. Decided to go big and buy in bulk for the next 3 months now to save a few pennys. Only question is now I have huge 5ft dog food like bags of protein lol. They are not re-sealable bags??

So the question is. How should I store these after I open them??

Will the bags be ok open if they are in a cold dark place??

or will I be better to buy resealable tubs and transfer them into the tubs.

I would go with the tubs man, makes it more convenient to scoop out of and you wont have to worry about any critters getting into them lol

lol good point. I ended up buying 4 large turbs 5kg tubs and swapping them over. Does make scooping alot easyer and atleast theyre now resealable. Think tbh a reseable zip on the bags would have made a hell of alot of difference from Optimum Nutrition but Il probably stick to single one month supplys and tubs for next time lol.

I always stock up on NTBM Whey products when they go on sale and use a discount code...small15.
Sometime the protien wills it for 3-5 months depending on how much I order and it never downgrades in quality or flavor. Store in jugs. Or put the back in the closet. If you dog can open the closet door then you may be in trouble..lol

Tnx mate. Decided on the huge tub idea and all is well. Iv actualy had my dog decide to take his anger out on the protein bag before lol. Luckily there pretty thick bags and it felll in his direction before he got thru the bottom. Little Bulldog so I suppose he loves his muscly frame as much as I love mine. Tnx for the replys guys.
