Questions on Oxycontin

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knew if OC came in those physician samples, you know, the 1 or two pill sample packs. If so, anyone know what doses. Any helps appreciated.

I don't know if Oxycontin is available in a 'sample packet' form but the lowest dosage pill is 10mg. The highest dosage pill is 160mg.

Oxycontin is a very strong, narcotic, painkiller and should only be used under the care of a physician.

i doubt it, they have to fill out a special form to send to the state just to prescribe it

My wife is a Medical Assistant and she told me that the drug companies are no longer legally able to sample any kind of narotic pain pills. She told it stopped in 2002. The only kind of pill that is sampled that is even near a pain pill is Ultracet and it is not even a narcotic. I hope this helps.

Oxycontin is a schedule II narcotic which means a copy of the script is kept on file and no refills, this is a federal law. Often when filling a script for a schedule II the pharmacist will call the prescibing physician. The only "Sample" meds you will be able to obtain are non-scheduled meds, the best sample pain pill you can get now is Ultram or Tramadol which doesn't even come close to Oxycontin.

All this is bullshit! I've been perscribed 90 oc 20s for the last 8 months. I've seen the sample packs, not from a physician but from a freind. I don't know how he obtained em but they were definately single doses of oc. I recommend anyone who gets these to take them very seriously! I've been addicted to pain meds for the last two years and for the last 8 months oxycontin. Oxy will bite you in the ass more than any other pain med on the market, I run out about 3/4 of the way through the month and I'm forced to buy them. Oxycontin is the worse, take only if absolutely necc.

try to stay away from this med. my uncle started taking it for minor shoulder pain about 5 years ago and died from an overdose in 2003. the shit is just as dangerous as any other deadly drug on the market, that includes injectable heroin. if you need it that badly, take it under controlled doctoral supervision.
