Questions for those who used Wellbutrin.

I was prescribed a while ago Wellbutrin but I didnt take it as I feared addiction, side effects and withdrawal symptoms..

1. How long did you have to take it in order to see some improvements?

2. How did you feel when you stopped taking it?

3.Any side effects?

Thanx...

I am considering taking it and I need some answers.

I took it 300mg ED when I was quitting smoking. I think the side effects of this particular drug are minimal in comparison to others. I just weaned down from 300 to 150 ED and then went off it and had no problems whatsoever. I didnt have any side effects at all. They say if you're already sensitive to caffeine, to lower your daily caffeine intake while using this. That didnt apply to me.

Have you ever taken an anti=deperessant before?

It's the one prescription anti depressant i would take (if it didn't make my insomnia 100x worse).

takes about a week to kick in.

not really addictive...as long as you get your internal biologically back on the right track

i got your k message about sam-e not working. you tried the nature brand correct?

no, never, thus my reluctance....

well i think wellbutrin would be a safe and conservative medication for you to try. give it up to a few weeks to build up in your system. you likely wont notice anything drastic other than a sense of well being moreso than normal.

it isn't addictive, one of the oldest antiD's made, very safe.
It didn't work for me, tried it for several months for limited results, funny thing for me was it said it may have a weightloss effect, it was just the opposite, I wanted to eat everything I saw...
