Questions about financial advisors

Is there anyone here who currently works, or has ever worked, as a financial advisor/consultant for American Express, Edward Jones, A. G. Edwards, Merril Lynch, etc? I'm considering a career move to one of these firms and would like to ask questions of people who are knowledgeable. Thanks.
