Question to the ladies

Ok ladies, im a newbie here , i've kinda been goin over past posts , if it's in here , I guess I just missed it .

The question is , cuz I saw posts about how the guys don't leave y'all alone and how you have to act bitchy and all that , and I agree 100 % with ya there .

But does it bother ya if a handsome guy who ( isn't a pencilneck ) and obviously trains very hard himself , comes up to you and says , " Hi , im so and so and I haven't seen you in here before , but I think you look awesome, keep buildin that sexy muscle girl "

Would that bother y'all ? or what that make ya feel better about what your doin ? or would it just be another asshole to ya ?

Cuz, I had surgery recently and haven't been to the gym for a while and I saw a girl that i haven't seen in there before and I think she looks awesome , so I wanted to tell her and after I was done with my walkin on the treadmill, yes, walkin , lol , it's that bad, I would have gone over and said just that to her, had I seen her, but she was gone i guess, anyway, just curious :)

This probably would have fit better in chat, buuuuttt

I wouldn't mind if someone came up to me and paid me a nice compliment. :) BUT, being married it wouldn't get ya very far :p

or what that make ya feel better about what your doin ?

Ummm.....NO!!! I workout for myself............not to please others, especially not strangers in the gym.

The "sexy" would bother me, because it's a very loaded word... it would immediately make me think he was trying to get in my pants, rather than merely being nice & sincerely complimenting my physique.

Now, if he didn't say "Sexy", I might appreciate it. But my situation is unique... I teach aerobics for a chain of clubs, 2 of which are women-only, 2 co-ed. I'm normally lifting at the women only clubs just cuz they're more convenient. I'm also one of the only ones actually LIFTING there... so I tend to feel like an oddball.

But when I go to the co-ed clubs, it's nice to be in the presence of others who value building muscle. When I've been complimented on the weight I can move, I do appreciate it. Of course, I'd rather they compliment & acknowledge the weight I'm moving than the way I look! Different connotations there....
Appreciating my abilities rather than my appearance.

Yeah, i see what y'all are sayin , the "sexy " would definitely take away from what i was tryin to do , which is basically say, hey, you work hard and you look great for it ! Not to get into her pants .

Really Gladiola ? you'd rather be complimented on the weight your movin , rather than how you look ? Wow , that's awesome girl, glad to hear that :) :)

Im glad I asked , thank's y'all :)
