question regarding high metabolism

Honestly, recovery rate can be related to a lot of things and with metabolism comes a lot of factors. If the higher metabolism is related to the thyroid production, then yes it can give one a quicker recovery rate. The thyroid hormone will go into the muscle cells and “clean” them out so that more nutrients can get back inside. The downside to this CAN be that unless you are not taking in ENOUGH kcals (and I do mean a lot) then you will basically be losing muscles or making zero progress from it.

Of course…there are a lot of “if’s” in all of it too.

not me i was just wondering in general would it mean a quicker recovery?
yes and no, BFold had a great response.

Read my post again... lots of food and a few training sessions a week will suffice for a fast metabolism individual most of the time.
