hey!! i was just wondering how long should you stay in a bulking stage??? does it just depend on you? or is there a suggested time frame of a bulking stage due to the gains of fat!?! thanx layta

most people will say until you reach about 15-18% bf... but i recommend starting to cut whenever you start to get a poor mental image of yourself. alot of people will get down on themself as they start to put on bf. cut when you feel you need to cut.. you know your body better than any of us.. and you know your mind better than any of us.
 
oh BTW.. if your getting ready for a contest... and your a natural competitor... give yourself atleast 16 weeks to prepare... even some pros who use anabolic steroids take 16 weeks to prepare for a show... most, through the help of chemicals can prepare in 12-14 weeks
 
ohhh ok ok thnx..umm what percentage of fat should u have before u reccomend bulking??? i would like to know so i can c how much more cutting i should do before i bulk!!!!!

i mean..if your low... then you definatly need to put on some quality mass..... let me give you some specifics... at 3% you have no fat on your body except the fat that is protecting your vital organs. at 15% is usually the "cutoff" for most average lifters use to start cutting...

are you taking bb seriously... as to say do you plan on competing?? if not most people bulk during the winter, and cut for the summer. i would say an average of guys on the beach is about 10... a very good bodyfat...

if you told us your stats NOW... maybe i could come up with a plan for you for the next 4-6 months or so... im getting a lot of what ifs... i need to know the facts
 
oh!! aight thnx..ye umm right now i do not know my body fat! i dont know where to check that out!!! has never been done.. but im like 5'8" aprox 175...was at 190 before cutting. and i feel that a month or so more should be good for my cutting cylce at the rate im goin but not too sure what the reccomended amount of fat percentage should you have beofre bulking... 10% sounds good tho! no iam not a bb..but plan to reach a 215-225 by the summer(atleast) no gear or anything n lean!

oh okay.. aight.. somewhere to start :D :D are your abs visable now? how bout your lower abs? its okay that you dont know your bodyfat... so instead of having a calipher, electronic calipher, underwater testing, etc... you are going to use the mirror as your "calipher" so to speak. im glad to see your not using any suppliments... thats good... spend your money on more food :D but seriously.. i do think you should look into getting a multi-vitamen. that should be a must FOR ANYONE WHO IS LIFTING... because people who preform exercises where their muscles are enduring extreme stress for periods of time tend to be deficient in certain vitamens and minerals( for example.. that is why ZMA works so well with lifters). are you happy with your body right now???? or do you think you are too fat? if that is the case.. then you probably arent at 10%.you are higher. my advice to you is you need to bulk. Eat clean, keep your cardiovascular system strong, and keep up those calories.. recover properly too and get plenty of water. for cardio.. maybe try low-mod intensity cardio for 20 minutes 2-3 times a week. then about 12 weeks out from a date you pick to be your target date, you start to cut. start out slowly, then work your way into being full-blown cutting after about 3 weeks. this target date should be around the time of the year you want to look " good for the ladies" i guess.

so thats my advice on when to start cutting. for specifics, you can just drop me an email.. just tell me what thread your in so i can know about your specific case... im always available to help an iron brother.. or sister :D
 
ohhh!! ok ok thanx..yea um my abs r visible!! just that my stomach sticks out tho!!:confused: its like a bloated stomach with visible abs..(dun get it)!!! but ne ways yea!! im sort of happy with the way i look in the mirror but i still see a a thick layer of fat covering up my muscle and sticking out my stomach!! otherwise my shape is good, i just rather have some more definition so when i bulk up im not a lard ass. but yea thanks alot with the tips !! :D layta
