Question on supplaments

One question how do you know if the supps are doing anything.i see posts from people who take 1-ad or 1-test or nordiol whatever they say they gained 10 pounds or whatever but then they say they increased there cals to 4,000.1-ad or no 1-ad if you eat 4,000 cals a day you will gain weight. One thread i read where someone took 1-ad and he gained 7 pounds. but then said his bodyfat went up and his muscle to fat ratio was 1 to 6 which means he gained fat.But he said he loved it etc. Even yohimburn i see people say after 2-3 bottles your face is so lean but 2-3 bottles is allot and in that time period it could of been anything.Itried super one+ at 24 squirts a day at under 3,500 cals and saw nothing.Can someone explain to me how you know if its the cals or the supp. I mean i know people on aas who didnt eat a whole lot of protein and they still got big and not fat.
 
well it depends what you have to compare it to.. if you are experience with weight training (1 year consistent+), then you know how your body reacts to certain things such as diet and supplements.. anyone who trains naturally for an extended period of time will have some idea of how long it takes for them to gain muscle.. those may then decide to try AAS.. only then can they really know what the AAS does for them. say for example, someone trains naturally for a year, and puts on 10lbs, well if they do a cycle and put on 10lbs in 1 month, then obviously they are excited about the gains.. i dont know about the fat, but most bb's will alternate bulking to cutting cycles to counteract any fat accumulated during bulking.. dont know if this was any help
