Question on strenth increases - please help

:confused: I always thought strength increases were esentially due to bloating in the muscles and their joints - but take winnie, it does not cause bloating but gives good strength increases...can someon explain the different factors involved in strength increase?

I posted this msg a long time back on another board and got various replies. Its due in part to the androgen receptors in the brain, which allow you to activate more muscle...this is what halo and methyltest do and why they are only very effective in the short term. More long term increases are the result of muscular hypertrophy (ie, your muscles get bigger and/or more dense) and you learn to better recruit more muscle fibers on cycle (that's why pixie stick olympic guys can pick 400lbs up over their head and you can't) and through appropriate training.
 
Dude, I've never heard of strength increases being due to water retention. I thought increases in strength were due to the breaking down and rebuilding of muscle fibers, making them thicker and able to move more weight.
Anyone else?
 
Basically winnie will increase strength because it is an androgen, like test and tren. Androgens cause a significant increase in motor units and neural connections and significantly increase your brains ability to recruit the most muscle fibers for a given task. Also androgens can shift the sodium potassium ratios in favor of water retention, which will increase strength. Lastly they will also increase aggression, which will make you more focused and energized in the gym. O and lets not forget nitrogen retention or cortisol inhibtion either...These are a few ways androgens increase strength, but there are others as well as ones we dont even know about yet...

Max biceps - I was mainly talking about instant strength increases like after taking winnie or test suspension. and yes bloating will give you imediate strength increase...
