I have what might be a fairly stupid question about Post-workout protein drink:
Today, I ate before lifting weights and did HIIT cardio after. By the time I got to the cardio, it had been over 2 hours since my last meal (empty stomach cardio).
But, after lifting (and before cardio) I drank a whey protein drink. Did that mess up my cardio on an empty stomach or is drinking an 8 oz protein drink (whey mixed with water) negligible in that respect? Thanks...
