Question on pins for Winny injections

I have a bunch of 23 guage, 1.5" pins, but I'd like to do my winny injections with insulin needles for ED injections. However, the only insulin needles I've been able to find have been like .5" long, and I don't think that's deep enough for an intramuscular injection. Could someone hook me up with a link for longer insulin needles?

.5 " should be fine for deltoid injections....If you are injecting ed, then you will need to rotate injection sites anyway....So grab some sack and use your 23G or get your hands on some 25G for you glute and quad injections....Fumunda

I'm not afraid of a 23, I just want to avoid site irritaiton and scar tissue from tons of winny shots. Would a .5" work okay for a tricep shot, too???
