Question on heating up gear...

I am using some TT products and I've been told that heating them up first helps burn off some of the benzol alcohol and lessens the pain quite a bit.. Anyway on my last shot I put syringe in ziplock bag and ran it under scolding hot water for about 5 minutes and this helped a bit but is there any other way I can do it to get better results and not screw up the gear?? Thanks

Heating gear up the way you did, just lowers the vicosity of the oil(makes it thinner) so it runs throught the neddle easier...

I think what someone was trying to tell you is Put the whole vial in the oven at 250 degrees and bake it

your not going to be able to "burn" off any alchohol in a sealed container such as a syringe.

Warming the liquid does just what Basskiller said and makes for less painfull injections.

I put the cap back on the needle and run the barrel of the syringe under hot tap water for a few minutes before I inject. Make sure the water is hot as you can get it from the tap. Its easy and it works.

Also make sure to deep massage the injection area after your shot for about 3-5 mins.
