You delete one post because its off topic and 2 pop up wondering why it was deleted, stating their right to free speah...blah blah blah.

In this sentence Zyg is replying to my reply on post that was started by DaMan (triple threat) and was deleted.
Right for free speach is BS. Nobody ever mentioned that. Unless you are referring to someone's else response.
Even though I support this board (yeas, Zyg, I do), I find it entertaining to log on and find that posts that have to do with supplements get DELETED, not MOVED as others do.
At the other hand I find amusing to see numerous posts that have NOTHING to do with AAS ("Fat man files law suite," blah, blah, blah).
I think you have to define your policy first how those posts are managed (deleted or moved), then you fairly delet them or move.
Anyhow, Zyg, just for clarification... I am NOT mad at that post being deleted. There is something more important going on than that deleted post.

RussianBro, I dont think Zyg was referring to you in particular. I've seen a ton of threads by guys complaining that their perfectly good threads were moved or deleted. I understand that the anabolic forum gets more traffic than the others, so guys want to post stuff here. But at the same time, Elite has more forums on more topics that any other board I've been to, so there is a place for those non AAS related topics.

This board should ONLY be about anabolics...yes, brothers, some of us can't get enough of the same questions about dbol, etc, or another 'what is the longest you stayed on' threads and get really upset over something like a steroid-related but not exactly serious thread.

I wasnt referring specifically to you and as Needsize pointed out it happens all the time. In your case though your post should have been on the suppliment board NOT the AAS board and I think everyone will agree.

As for the thread you bring up however, there are things involved that you have no knowledge of and as the TOS of this site states George and/or his representatives can basically do as we see fit with any post. Even if you dont have any respect for me, you should at least have respect for all the solid bro's that come here and share their knowledge. This respect is done by keeping things on topic and NOT cluttering the board with questions as to why a mod decided to do what they did with a post. If you have a question regarding why something was moved, please have the decency and respect for the other board members to send PM's.

Zyg, I respect a LOT of bros on this board, including YOU. YOU haven't done anything to offend me or piss me off. I wouldn't have supported this board if that wouldn't have been the fact.
You may find it funny, but when you don't care about particular people, you sipmly ignore them. When you care about someone, you tell them that something bothers you. That's my logic I've been taught sence little.
In regards of PMs. I guess that is why I PMed you first to find out what happened.

Any situation like this (little crisis) is always a good thing. Cause any of us can make new changes that will help us improve existing systems of order...

agree with needlesize and just about the only mod i see lately is Zyg, karma to both, not that zyg needs it. BUT deleting threads equals less activity, less activity looks like a dead board. Who visits a dead board....NO ONE, which means no one reads the pop ups every 5 seconds and no one buys the latest greatest book / article on worthless information....get the picture. but i'm not one to complain i just don't read the shit.......

Hopefully with our combined effort we can slowly turn the topic of conversation largely back to what this forum is for.

Needsize has touched on a very important point. Unfortunately, its been brought up several times before with ZERO results. The problem is, this important post will drown amongst the bullshit posts just like all the other good posts and be forgotten before anything can be done. In a couple days it will be below a hundred posts asking about the same damn redundant crap that fill the boards every day.

As some of you may have noticed I have been trying to clean things up a bit. In doing so it has simply caused more useless threads asking why threads were moved. I was called disrespectfull for not notifying them why the off topic posts were moved. That in itself I find rather ironic since by posting off topic threads you in essence disrespect all the mods AND the other members of this forum yet these people still feel they deserve the respect of a PM explaining why the off topic post was removed. Am I the only one who can see the hypocrisy in that?

The end result is if a post is blatently off topic I will move it to the appropriate forum and leave a redirect. When a post is moved I was under the impression a PM was sent to the author, if thats not the case I appologize for my oversight. However, you can likely determine why it was moved and if moved to another forum its because it was off topic for the original forum it was in. When I delete a post I will usually notify the author why unless the post was so rediculous or a source post in which case the auther in my opinion doesnt deserve to be notified.

i agree with you 100%. i think johnboy maybe drunk or something as he usually dosen't do this type of thing.
