Question for the long cyclers

Whats up guys.....who here has done or knows somebody that has done a very long cycle and im talking like 7-12 months. How much of crash was there, what were the gains like, how much of the gains did you keep, and what were the health problems.
From what ive read everybody insists on cycle of 8-12 weeks long but why wouldnt a longer cycle of low-moderate dosages while changing the compounds be more effective than a short high dosage cycle? Wouldnt it be easier for the body to hold onto the mass that is put on slowly than 20lbs of muscle thrown on in 8 weeks? I understand you will be supressed from a long cycle but a short cycle will shut you down too. If you come off the long cycle with proper post cycle meds wouldnt the recovery be close to that of a 12 week cycle but since the body has become more accustomed to the weight it would be easier to keep??
Let me know what you guys think about this...

I agree with you, been on a real long time switching it up every couple of months, real mild stuff. 400mg deca right now, 250-500 sust months before, still constant gains, still alive, still have nuts, but they are small.

I like doing longer cycles i.e. 6-7 months. If you use hcg throughout and follow it up with clomid at the end the recovory was not all that horrible and I didn't lose much strength at all. I usually do the last few weeks of my cycle with a very low dose like 250mg/w of test or 20mg/d of winny it helps me mentally come down off the cycle and I always make sure I end at a point where I don't mind eating and possibly putting on a few pounds of fat to help hold onto my gains.

Well, my cycle is too long to call it a cycle. But, theoretically what you are saying makes a lot of sense. 8 weeks is just not enough to make our bodies to agree with new added muscles, and if one is using hcg/Clomid/may be some other things postcycle should be no much difference in post cycle recovery comparing 8 or 20 weeks.

have done an 8 mon cycle...bridging with a little test and GH....my body composition has changed dramaticaly as my appearence also....attempting to stop the bridge and come off with kynoselen...its been 1 year......my caloric intake is not what it should be....down from 235-240 to 225lbs but very lean....right now its been easy to maintain....strength has improved also, and joints and muscles feel good.....I will keep you guys posted.....

Stayed on test for about a year once. When I was competing it seemed like I never came off for more than a month at a time. Effects: destroyed my sex drive for about a year. Stayed pretty much natural for two years and lost a good amount of muscle but was able to regain some after my body normalized. I would not recommend long cycles unless you are competing. I was never one of those guys who had many side effects though. could take 3 anadrol a day without thinking twice about it.
