Question for Thanksgiving regarding refeed day or just cheat meal

Hey everyone, I'm wondering what your thoughts are for Thanksgiving.

I'm wondering if I should make the whole day a refeed day, or just do a cheat meal at night.

Now, I know in the long run, it's really not going to matter all that much, but I figure I might as well try to do it as right as I can.

I'm going to eat a lot for dinner, otherwise my parents would absolutely kill me. And being it's once a year, I planned to cheat this day since the diet started 11 weeks ago. But it's just one meal, so I guess it doesn't matter all that much.

So what are your guys' take on this? Refeed the whole day and cheat (because I'm going to mix fat and carbs) at night? Or just do normal diet and have the cheat meal at night?
 
How is the diet running for you? 11 weeks is a good amount of time what kind of results have you had?
Im running a CKD diet and im planning on running ckd all the way up till thursday night when I will carb up and all of friday , and then back on ckd till next friday.
 
Diet's going great!

I started at around 190 and have dropped to 170. My waist size is now 31 when it started at 37.

I've lost some muscle, but I can put it back later by adding in some carbs and going a little over my BMR.

I don't think I've ever been in better shape than I am now. I pretty much can see all my abs, but they aren't that distinct yet.

I'm going to for the veins to be visible in my stomach, and I honestly figure that'll take till next summer, but I don't mind because I'm having a lot of fun.

It's funny, even though I was bigger and more imposing at a higher weight, I've gotten a little cockier due to my self esteem getting a LOT higher now that I'm lean. It's a really good feeling.

That's the page that I came in at, and I'm still updating. Not every day anymore though. I run out of things to talk about. :)

Just eat the dinner meal as the cheat, but the whole day try to keep it clean. You don't have to do ketonic ratios or anything, just let Thanksgiving be a day of relaxation, take your mind of dieting, and you'll see that in the long-run that will yield the most results.

It's good to know that... I have been a little concerned at the prospect of becoming a "little guy"; but apparently you feel even more confident now at 170 than you did at 190! Keep it up bro, and keeping posting on our thread... you're the man to beat now ;)!

The funny thing is, I've had a lot of people tell me I look bigger.

It's all the illusion of being able to see the muscle.

Also, remember, what you think of as a little guy, 90% of the general public will be smaller than. :) I've noticed that too. When I go to the gym, sure, I see bigger guys. When I go out, I don't really see guys that are much bigger if at all than I. And it seems that I'm quite a bit more approachable by the women, which I tend to enjoy.

I think my bottom line is that when I'm huge but fat, I feel low self esteem. When I'm smaller, but lean as hell, my self esteem is much higher. I'd rather build slowly with high self esteem than be fat and huge with low self esteem. :)

One last thing I think about from time to time... It's winter, most people cover up. While people are going to be starting their diets for summer later and struggling where we are, we'll already be there getting a tan on the freakin' beach! :fro:
