Question for Stew Meat!

supreme

New member
Stew:

I have been reading your posts on using Trenbolone and NOt taking finasteride for hair loss & it makes sense if Tren is converted to DHN like Deca.

My question is I have been taking 1.25 - 2.5/mg a day for about 3-4 years now. Any idea what the half-life of finasteride is?? how long before it is not present in my blood/scalp???

I got a great deal on some Tren and want to use it to harden up before vacation- but keep my hair!!!

Also azleic acid works as a topical 5ar inhibitor, should I avoid using products like Xandrox that have it while on Tren?? or is topical o.k?? what about topical finasteride cream?? or should I just avoid all 5ar inhibitors on Tren?

To keep my hair, I will just use my 2% nizoral, 15% minoxodil and my 5% spironolactone - these are o.k I hope??

Thansk for your help!

Anyone else have some input, please feel free to comment

Any topical androgen blocker will be effective Supreme.I don't know that proscar will be aggrevative with tren like it is with deca,it just won't serve any purpose,as tren doesn't convert to DHT...

Huck:

That is what I originally believed but Stew says that Tren converts to DHN & 5 ar inhibitors will leave a more potent androgen in the scalp.

anyone have any other ideas, comments??

Thakns for the help

Drop the finasteride for a couple of weeks and continue the topical applications.Flutamide will be more than sufficient to block androgens of any nature, even if such a conversion is taking place, which in my opinion,it doesn't.I'm not sure how a trenbelone metabolite can tranform into a nandrolone metabolite once it reaches the scalp...

Huck:

my thoughts exactly! I just finnished reading the incredible debate between Stew & Anabolicum Mister!

both make excellent points, but I agree that I am using enough topical non- 5AR reducing things to keep my hair.

My question is still "what is the half-life of Proscar in the scalp??" Ideally I would like to begin Tren by next Wed.

How long till my last dose clears my system??

Also any idea on the half-life of Tren, so I know when I can start using proscar again??

as always Huck, you come through with practical ideas- thanks!

Maximum plasma concentrations of finasteride are reached 2 hours after ingestion. After wich time, the drug is metabolised by the liver and throughout the course of a day, 39% will be excreted through the urine and 57% is excreted through the feces. Finasteride is not esterfied but remains active for 1-2 days because 90% of it will bind to plasma proteins. I would recomdend you stop taking finasteride 5 days before begining a trenbelone cycle. This should guarantee that serum concentrations of 5-alpha reductase will remain unbound to allow optimum conversion of trenbelone to a hormone that is much less androgenic on the scalp than nandralone.
The overall androgenic activity of a drug is NOT and indicator of the degree of androgenic activity in the scalp. Trenbelone is extremely androgenic yet does NOT demonstrate much androgenic activity in the scalp. Trenbelone is structurally VERY similar to nandralone. Tren is a derivitive of 19-nortestosterone. It interacts with 5-alpha reductase in the same manner that its structural isomorph, nandralone, does and renders a hormone that is much less androgenic within the scalp. If this conversion is antagonised, reduced, or blocked by competitive inhibition, it will allow extremely androgenic hormones the potential to devistate the hair folicle thus inducing hair loss.
