i have a friend overseas (soldier) and he s thinking of doing his fist cycle. what do u think the chances are of him getting tested . and do u think its safe for him to reseave it....he lives off base. or should he have it sent here and pick it up on leave, but then he has to smuggle it back on a plan.

im no military guy, but do know plenty of them. they almost will never test him for steroids unless he gets ratted out on by one of his fellow soldiers, or two, he goes around telling people he is taking stuff and someone over hears it. does he have his own address overseas where he lives, or is it a military institution? cause the military will check any packages the want without proper cause if its sent to a military po box. smuggling things is never a great idea, but is he taking a civilain aircraft back overseas or a military plain?

Even if he does grow like a beast that does not warrant a test for AAS.. The regular drug tests do not test for AAS however they can find PCT drugs and if there is no prescription you're in deep shit..

I was in the military and on while in i might add.. I would first suggest that he waits until his enlistment is up just so he can put more thought and effort into his goals.. If he doesn't then I don't see any beef with it.. Lots of Armed Service Members juice.. It's nothing new.. If he is caught with gear that's enough right there to get him expelled.. Since the testing for AAS is so expensive and there is really no way of saying 100% that you are on AAS (it's only Test levels) then what they try to do is get you to incriminate yourself. That's all they need.

I think they give the soldiers steroids in their water anyway.. They used to give them crystal meth in the 1930's ..lol

he won't get tested unless someone suspects him. if he lives off base then having them delivered to his home should be ok since it is legal in a lot of countries, but to an mpo is always a risk.

He won't get tested unless something seriously warrants the suspicion (ie - he beats the shit out of his wife and kids) Seriously.

The Army is suppose to test 100% of their personnel at least twice a year (usually after the 4th of July and New Years). They are also suppose to test 10% of their personnel monthly. Does this always happen? Nope. Do they ever randomly test for AS? Nope.

I've been around awhile and I hold some clout (as far as rank is concerned). Tell your friend, never smuggle shit on leave. If he must, have it mailed to him. I presuming to think he's over in Europe. If he's near the sand, if he's not able to find anything local - he's not looking hard enough ;)

Yup!...this is true. I used to be the guy in charge of giving the UA's at my old unit. We never tested for steroids. Only the commander could authorize or even request a test on soldier for steroids...but even he had to have reasonable justification to request a special test. Seeing a guy get hella big isn't enough justification to order that test. If I were him I wouldn't tell anyone that I was on a cycle...he should be fine unless he oneday walks by his commanders office and a bottle of sus250 falls out of his pocket!

Well shit, they kinda had to..... The soliders in WW2 sometimes fought non stop day and night, and had to be alert...... When it comes to War, a REAL war where we are defending our countries existance, they will take any advantage they can find..... German SS troopers were known to be given Testosterone shots to make them more aggressive..... It's funny how you don't learn about drug use in History, but there is plenty of it...... I was a History major in college, and took a class called Drugs and Society in History, it was very interesting stuff......

Here's an insert of a long report I did in college:

“Anabolic Steroids” is the common name for synthetic substances in relation to androgens (male sex hormones). Simply put, anabolic steroids are synthetic forms of the testosterone. The acronym AAS (anabolic androgenic steroids) will be used through this report. Human-grade AAS were first developed in the 1930’s to treat patients with insufficient testosterone development. This development was deemed essential for normal growth and sexual functioning. Expanded medical uses became more apparent as AAS research gained more popularity and support.

Germans, the World War and World Records

During the Second World War, it’s suggested that Germans experimented with AAS on canines, their own soldiers and prisoners of war. The use of AAS on prisoners of war was for the benefit of the prisoners to combat malnutrition. Though there is little factual evidence of these experiments, these AAS related research scenarios are not often disputed. In the 1950’s Russian and European athletes began breaking (power lifting) world records and dominating the bodybuilding industry. These world-renowned accomplishments caught the eye of the athletic world to the use and further research of AAS. The boost of testosterone levels in the male body has been proven to increase strength, shorten recovery time, add lean mass (muscle), lower body fat and improve endurance and speed.

The potential application of AAS to selective special operators could prove more constructive than problematic.
