Question For Mr. X

wu zup bro, I was reading your articles on ckd.... I have a question. I tried bulking and all i did was gain so muchweight... My BOdy just gains so much weight quick...(fatty tissue). Well, I lost 33lbs before bulking, but now I need to lose 15lbs and keep the muscle I have.
here is my question, I see that you talk about taking dextrose w/ whey after lifting to give the insulin burst that is needed. Would it be a good idea to take it just after cardio???? IF i take whey protein w/ dextrose after cardio(running) will the insulin burst benefit my musle in not having muscle loss or would it just kill the whole cardio activity. I know it's not sucrose, but it is a sugar/carbs??? So what do I do after a run??? Take it or not??? The whey protein and dextrose must contains over 200 calories. So i'mma be burning 350 cals and then sticking 200 right after????
OR should i wait a while after the carido??? I heard not to intake anything for an hour post cardio, because your body is at it's max. burning rate...

I would say that it depends on whether you are doing low or high intensity cardio. You do not need to get whey into your system immediately unless you are in need of tissue repair. All cardio is doing is depleting your glycogen stores. If you are talking about a CKD, then at NO time would you ever touch dextrose...
you asked if a sugar was a carb...
when you ingest a carb, it is converted to glucose in the bloodstream. Depending on the GI of the carb...i.e. how simple or complex it is, it will convert to glucose at a different rate. Sugar is almost immediately processed as it is already in sugar form and is readily uptaken. So to answer your question, sugar is the most simple carb there is and really has no useful dietary purpose besides spiking insulin. (and making things taste good)
