Hey Guys...My man is going to compete in his first competition on October 23rd (5 weeks out). He is training with a friend of his that has won the Lackland competition 3 years in a row and he is giving him advice and tips that worked for him. ANyway i have a few questions that I know you guys can help me with:
1) How far in advance would you recommend to stop taking creatine?
2) What is the most amount of protein shakes he should consume? -we know that natural source protein is best, but is sometimes hard to do during the day while at work.
3) Critique this diet: Personally I think he could use some almonds, and natural p.b. but not to sure. and I am sure that he will soon have to cut out all the fruit and some of the dairy? He also drinks V8- throughout the day.
1. Protein shake- mixes with 1% milk
2. 7 egg whites, 1 whole, onions, tomato, spinach, olive oil, oatmeal
3. chicken, greens
4. cottage cheese and peaches
5. ceviche- raw shrimp and fish in a tomato sauce or tuna and egg whites
6. shake-pre workout
7. post workout-shake
8. chicken/beef, greens-olive oil
9. 5 strawberries
10. shake
