Question for All?!?!

In all serious (I know, this is even hard for me), I want some new recipes from you guys on how you prepare your meals.
Not that what I do now is boring or anything, it's just if I can change it up before it gets boring, then I'm on top of the game.
So if you guys have some good ideas or recipes please pass them on.
Currently I am eating mainly chicken, rice, and pinto beans.
I cook with the foreman grill all the time. I use a lot of Mrs. Dash, Tony's, and Franks red hot.
Breakfast is usually cereal.
What I am looking for is maybe a new way to prepare the chicken or rice, or maybe some new seasoning ideas, ANYTHING to help!

i gave scrappy a good marinade for chicken - maybe he'll be kind enough to send it to you... the other one i like i don't have nearby either... i kinda left my apt in a rush saturday night...
 
just a tip, you might want to create a new thread in this section AND in the diet section called "hellp me with some recipies!!" or some shit. The title of this thread isnt' getting you many reponses. just a thought. :)
 
Yeah like smalls said, it's all about marinading stuff. I recently discovered the glory of it all from HappyScrappy so now when I get my chicken breasts, I buy a bunch of salad dressing and different marinades to let the breasts swim in. It has really taken the blandness out of the chicken. Any post where I can talk about breasts is a winner.
 
Just any kind of salad dressing, anything particular? What are good marinades?
Yeah thats why I started this thread, o get to talking about breast, and ways to eat them, and make them taste better!
 
italian makes a pretty good marinade..

the one i'm talking about is made from scratch with olive oil, lemon juice, rosemary, garlic, pepper, red pepper flakes, salt... and that's all i remember...
 
No shit Trance? That sounds good, I will try that later, do you marinade in the salsa, or just top the chicken with it after it's cooked?

Smalls, that sounds like it is good, but I'm no gourmet cook, I will PM happy and see if he will share the secret.

it's very easy to make... and you don't have to marinate it long either.

when i get settled again i'll send you the souvlaki recipe.

It's great - I usually pan-fry it in the salsa, or I marinade it for about an hour and then bake it. It's really good.

Lime salsa is good, too. Throw a little cilantro and garlic salt on your chicken and then top with lime salsa...mmmm...

Now I'm hungry. LOL

man marinades can come in any form or fashion;

italian dressing (the kind with oil)
soy sauce
bbq sauce
lemon juice or lime juice
jerk seasoning
cajun seasoning
lemmon pepper seasoning
put in some garlic or ginger in your marinade
you can add papricka, chili powder, or some kind of spicy stuff to your marinade and let it set overnight.


I'm sure there's more. you can mix and match, experiement to your liking. now I'm hungry.
 
P.S. Peyote Killa, ditch the cereal for breakfast. eat something with a lot more protein than that, eggs, mrps, whatever. but cereal isnt' all that great in terms of nutrition, and it's not exactly cheap per serving.
 
greek seasoning is good too.

i also use seasoning salt, balsamic vinegar and a bit of olive oil and lemon juice... bake.. :)

make a little tin foil packet and put that marinade all over veggies , chicken, and mini potatos you are cooking. it's quite good.

i eat scrambled eggs for breakfast normally... right now i'm too tired to go down and eat that.
 
I know about the cerael, but I drink another 16oz. of milk with it. Not to mention I drown the shit with milk too. See I love milk and in the morning is really the only time my body will respond in a good way to the milk. I used to eat 6 egg whites, and 1 slice of toast. But I have to be at work really early 6 days out of the week, so cereal is what works right now.
Thanks for all the input and advice, I made a list, and will go to the store as soon as I get home.
