question about working out schedule

Hi im new here. I started working out last may and have gained about 25 pounds give or take a few pounds and gotten a lot strong. But lately I have hit a block. The last few month I have been about same strength and I wonder is it because of my schedule. I work out 3-4 times a week and just do like 1 or 2 excercises for everything except my legs because i run a lot. Should i be splitting up as in one day for chest and back one day for arms etc.?
 
I don't know if you do compound excersizes, but if you don't, do them. All you really need are the big 6, Squat, Benchpress, Row/powerclean, Deadlift/High pull, Push Press, and Squat. Yes, i put the squat on there twice, cause it's the MOST important excersize out there. Squat, squat, and squat some more, and you'll be amazed...
 
For the longest time I didn't train legs because I was playing soccer, running all the time. I recently started doing squats 3x per week and everything has improved as far as my running goes.
