QUestion about using 5% BA

I realize that it is the BA that causes injection pain much of the time. Does using 5% cause a lot of pain? Ive done shots of UG gear that hurt like hell for a week, im assuming its BA but have no idea what % they used. If 5% still causes pain, can you decrease its concentration and use BB to help keep it in solution? All of the recipes I see for :test prop, test enathate, and tren have you using 5% BA. Can you decrease this safely and still keep it in suspension? How?

The initial pain of the injection I think is caused by the BA, but this soon dissipates as it is more water soluble than the cosolvent BB. I think if you don't use enough BB then you will get a longer-term pain as the depot crystalizes a bit when the BA is gone. I wouldn't reccomend going lower than 2% BA as it's use is not only as a solvent - it also keeps the oil bacteriostatic.

yeah, realized that it is for killing out bacteria and mold spores. So its not the BA that causes the long term pain? I thought it was. Im using some EQ now that really irritates the injection site, swells up for a week. thinking I should bake off some of the BA. going to make some homebrew soon and dont want painful gear. If you go lower on the BA, what % of the BB would you need?

I think you may have some bad batch of eq mine is made at 300 mg / ml and with 5ba and 15 bb and it does not hurt at all. I have made it to use at 3 and 9 with no prob either

I know everyone has their own percentages they use of BA and BB, so... I have been using 3%BA and 13%BB and everything turned out perfect without any burn. It's up to you to find something your comfortable with, but I can tell ya, you don't need 5%BA.

Yeah Im hearing that you dont need 5% BA from a lot of people, very glad for the feedback. Makes me feel safer to know that nobdoy has had trouble with infections when using lower BA.
