Question about Puff Daddy/P.Diddy

When did Sean Combs switched his name from Puff Daddy to P. Diddy ? Cause I was looking to some of my old vinyls and he was using that name. Now on the most recents (I need girl, Bump, bump, bump) he has this homo "P. Diddy" thing..... WTF ???

He actually refered to himself as P. Diddy on his 1st CD in 1997, but he was still officially Puff Daddy/Puffy then. When I can't get over is he had one of the dumbest sounding names in hip hop and came up with one even dumber.

I have always thought "Snow" was the best name ever name for a rapper, next to "69 Boyz." Rapper creativity at its best right there.

After the shooting incident...

and he got off charges he wanted a fresh start. His friend, Biggie, had callled him P.Diddy and so he went with that as his new, fresh start name.......read a little about his background recently.

I'm actually impressed with P, JazZ, Eminem, and JaRule and the work ethic they all possses....they've worked hard to get where they are and still do to make the jack they're making.....

I can only imagine the work ethic it takes to put in an 8 hour day at the office in order to pull in thousands upon thousands of dollars then go home to a mansion and get supermodel head. Fuck I'm not gonna lie, if I was in their shoes I probably would've quit after the first day...maybe just gone part time, but still it'd be really hard to get up in the morning and go deal with that everyday.
