Question about propecia

I'm in the middle of doing a search on propecia and have come up with that the only thing not to use while on it is deca. Are there any other substances that are just known to not take with propecia. I'm about to go to my dermatoligist for frontal receeding hairline from previous cycles. I am 21 years old. Just wondering because my next cycle comsist of winny,eq,primo, and test cyionate. I want to get all the info I can before I go to the doc. Also, beside rogain and nioxel, what else would be good to block dht on this cycle. The test is only going to be 250, i'm pretty sure the balding started from 750mg of omna so the test shouldn't be a factor this time. Any info appreciated. ASlo, does liquedex have any influence on preventing hair loss????

I just got back from dermatologist today and I showed him that my hairline was starting to recede a little. He suggested using rogain only on the part that is receding. Also, I don't think you can use propecia with fina. That cycle you suggested should be o.k. with propecia. I ran a similar cycle last year and used propecia with no problems. BamBam

There is alot of debate regarding what drugs you can and can't mix with finasteride. Deca seems to be a positive no-no. I'm no expert, but none of the drugs you mention for your cycle raise a red flag in my mind. Bump for a more definitive answer to that one...

Keep in mind, finasteride can only lower circulating DHT level. It will help your hair, and it will lower DHT levels in the scalp, but only indirectly. Testosterone will still be converted to DHT in the scalp.

Rogain (minixidil) basicaly works by reducing the DHT caused constriction around your hair. A good alternative (actually a step up IMO) to rogain is xandrox which is a combo of minoxidil and azelaic acid. Azelaic acid inhibits the synthesis of DHT in the skin. A good investment for you would be spironolactone which prevents the formation of DHT in the scalp.

Silent method- do you know of any web sites or stores that I can purchase xandrox and spironolactane?I'm guessing that both of these are topical treatments??Thanks

Yes, go to www.minoxidil.com. The spiro and xandrox are both topical.

You need a doctors referral to make purchases from the site. Email them, tell them your interested in purchasing products, and they will email you two forms, one you fill out and one that your doctor signs. All it says is that the doctor agrees you have MPB. If your worried about your own doctors opinion, just tell him you found a place to buy rogain cheap but need his referal to buy from the website. Once you send that in you can buy finasteride, xandrox, spiro, and more...

Good luck...

Winny and primo are two of the worst on the hairline and if I'm not mistaken I don't think finesteride will work with winny ( it will have no affect). Some people would say you were just wasting it if you take it with winny but I will be running winny soon and I'm one who thinks its better to take something than nothing. But you definetly need to get the topicals.
