Question about Pregnyl

Pregnyl comes as a vial of powder and liquid. I have never used it before so I'm wondering, do I need to get an empty vial to put the mix into between uses?

No.

If you're going to use all 5000iu's at once then no. If you are using it over a prolonged time frame then obviously yes, you do need to be able to place into into a sterile enviroment (sterile vile) that can be stored in your fridge for later use.

either way works. one may be more practical than another depending upon your situation. you need to get some bac water too if you're going to be storing it for prolonged use...

Agreed

The vial with the powder is sterile and the liquid is bacteriostatic water (BW) for mixing. You inject the BW into the powder vial by running it gently down the side of the vial. Peptides are fragile so no shaking and no injecting so hard and fast that the solution foams as it hits the powder.

For a 10,000 unit vial, the dilution typically calls for 10 ml of BW. This gives you a dilution that corresponds to the units on an insulin syringe. The dosage at this dilution means that 25 units on the insulin syringe = 250 units of Pregnyl. So, units of Pregnyl = 10 * units as marked on the slin pin.

the water it comes with isn't bac water... that water is meant to be mixed with powder and injected right away. if you're planning on doing it all right then and there then go ahead and use that, no problem, but if you're saving it for prolonged use you gotta actually buy bac water from gpz or somewhere else of your choosing.

The Pregnyl that I use is scripted and comes from a US pharmacy. It comes with BW. If your Pregnyl comes from overseas or an UGL, your mileage may vary.
