question about Microsoft word

In one of the documents I'm working on the cursor is blinking very slowly, when I scroll it's very slow, and any corrections I attempt to make takes awhile for the cursor to move....

I'm not having this problem w/ any other docs......I figure I probably have hit some setting I shouldn't have.

anyone have any suggestions.

I have absolutely no images in this document, it's a complete text document.....It can't be a problem with hard drive space, and other documents of mine much lengthier than this one, is not having this particular problem.

If I can't figure out what's wrong, it will take me 2 days to make corrections on this document.

maybe a setting within windows or word then....but ive never found it

i guess its just scroll and click with the mouse (v.frustrating)

yup.....i'm sure i've hit some setting accidentally, i just can't figure out which one....i hate mysteries, even ones as benign as this one.

Have you tried copying and pasting everything to a new document to see if it works?

thanks for the advise, but I've tried that as well....didn't work.
