question about mens colognes? need help

i noticed that dirk howat knew their stuff. i am new to this board and the information has been really useful. just wnat to say thanks ahead of time.

1)question 1. i just bought jean paul gautier and its awesome. smells great. just im not sure how many sprays im supposed to use. i wore it to the office today, put on 3 good sprays and no one can smell anything!!! unless REALLY close. id like for the scent to radiate around me but not overdoing it but no one can even noticed im wearing it. is there something wrong with my bottle? i put two sprays on my chest and one on my wrist and massaged it around my neck and behind my ears. is this cologne typically really weak???

2) the same goes for my clinique happy. all the same. do you guys usually put more than 3 sprays? not sure what to do. thanks!

Good post! I have the Le Male and I use 5 shots. 3 on back of my neck and 2 on my chest, seems to be just right. Then maybe 2 more shots half way through the day.

Okay I've found the best combination with the Jean Paul is: 2 sprays on back of the neck, two on chest and one around waist area. Seems to work great!
