thanx, i appreciate the facts from everyone. i regularly compete and i wanted to try somthing different. i usally start off a 12 week precontest diet with a good amount of carbs and then taper off to nothing around week twelve. i believe, by the evidence presented, you can get mad ripped off a keto diet. although it is a high fat diet, the fat will not make you fat. i plan to eat 5 or 6 meals mostly from cans of tuna and whey protein shakes ,and the occasional egg. i will get most of my fat from olive oil rather than fatty, high sodium meats. im going to modify my carb ups a little. im going to add cell-tech or twinlabs creatine in place of some carbs during my carb up days. i also plan to diet the traditonal 12 weeks, or untill my bf levels are around 5%. also i will add the following supplements N.Y.C. and yohimbihurn as well as a multi vitamin. as the weeks go by i will fill everyone in on the results i get.
