question about elit mail

i formatted my computer and for some reason this time I cannot get the eliit mail to work it crashed and ask if I want to send an error report after I type in my passphrase. Im running Win XP and installed all the new updates. I think it has something to do with Java but im not sure. I also installed Microsoft Virtual Machine but I think that may have made it worse. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!!! Please.

Do you have any programs using JRE (Java Runtime Environment)? I was getting the exact same thing. Under Internet Exlplorer, try going under tools|internet options|advanced, then scroll down a bit and look for Java (Sun) and uncheck the box that says "Use Java 2 v1.3.1_03 <applet>", or something similar, then reboot windows. It should solve your problem if that is the case. Whatever programs that were calling on the JRE program should still work correctly and IE will use Mircosoft VM to handle the Java and JavaScript on webpages when surfing.

Oh yeah, make sure under Microsoft VM you have the following checked, Java console enabled and JIT compiler.
