You'll have to try to find the correct dosage for your body by selecting a conservative amount and having blood tests to see the result.

And your body changes as you age so adjustments every 3-6 months are common.

300 mg p/w is very high for HRT. 75mg is the amount my Doc used to inject before he went to the latest compound topicals. These topicals slowly raise the levels and seem to hold them. I'm now at 1,000.

HGH is the partner to testo in an HRT program along with Amiridex.

Typical self administered HRT program would be:
Test p @ 75 mg p/w
HGH @ one iu MWF
Amiridex @ 0.25 T Th

Blood test every 3-6 months.

IIRC correctly from the other thread, thelion2005 started at < 300 total test, and his dosage of 75mg/wk of gel put him at the top of the range. So it doesn't take all that much.

Everybody reacts differently. My body seemingly loves to aromatise Test into E2 - my E2 levels are consistently high, and I realize (now) that I've had high E2 symptoms for years.

I'm on hcg 250iu eod, and 100mg Test-Cyp/week (which is equiv to 70mg of the gel, there's about a 30% loss thru the injection). I'm getting another round of blood tests done in a week or two, and will post results here.

If you don't have a doc to work with, I'd suggest getting tests thru directlabs, and getting the free + total Test run after supplementing with 100mg/wk. Give it some time to stabilize. Then, once you tweak the test dosage/level, with repeated bloodwork, get more comprehensive panels done that include lipid profiles and PSA. Watch the hdl levels.

Once everything stabilizes, and you're values are in range, you start to feel really wonderful. Better than cycling, imo.

I think we are pretty much on the same page.

Here is a different, but logical next question:

Once you have stablized your levels through testing, what would comprise a cycle for a HRT patient?

Perhaps:
Sust 250 to bump up the HRT test ... maybe 75 mg p/w
Deca for it's ability to build .... maybe 75 mg p/w
Anavar, which would be kinder to an older liver ... 15 mg p/d

This would definately be a bump up ... a total of about 250 mg p/w
over 8 weeks.

That is a good hypothetical. ;)

I guess it depends on all the usual things: experience, goals, bodyweight, and how prone to sides you are.

The big difference, I think, is that since we're talking about somebody who is "Dark4Lyfe", we don't have to worry so much about shutdown, and the PCT will be different. At least, that's what I'm thinking today.

I think shorter cycles would be good to avoid sides and to get back to stable levels more quickly. For that reason, and the reason that Deca hangs out so long, I'd lean towards doubling the Deca dosage but run it for 4 weeks. It'll still be in the system at week 8.

I think that however it was run, it would be enough to notice some nice gentle gains. I don't think anybody would get crazy big crazy fast, but it would certainly aid recovery nicely.
