Question about bf calipers & pedometers

I am looking into eventually buying a good pedometer and bf caliper. I already have a regualr tape measure, so I don't think I need a new one unless there is a difference in them. I'd like to start taking my own measurements every-so-often. Then I can go to ISU quarterly to get everything done professionally (incl the BodPod testing.) Are there any certain brands or models of these items that anyone would recommend? Thanks!
